Working as a student trainee at Intero offers me the ideal opportunity to gain interesting insights into the business world and practical experience.

I was welcomed into the Intero family with open arms. Everyone in the team has a very friendly relationship with each other and I very quickly felt at home here. Whether it's a relaxed chat over a cup of coffee or a duel on the "Intero table football", there's no shortage of fun.

A varied range of tasks ensures that I never get bored and I can familiarize myself with many different topics, and the team is always happy to help and take the time to answer my questions.

This gave me a topic for my Bachelor's thesis, which I then successfully wrote here at Intero Consulting. The highlights are of course the project visits on site, which gives me the opportunity to get to know a wide variety of companies and their structures.

Intero Consulting offers me the perfect opportunity to finance my studies and at the same time gain valuable experience in everyday working life.

After completing my doctorate in experimental psychology and gaining my first professional experience in the education sector, I decided to make a career change. At Intero Consulting I found what I was looking for - a nice team with broad expertise for almost every problem, exciting projects and new challenges every day.

From my first day at work, I was fully integrated into the project team and was on site from the second week onwards. During the first few months, I was given smaller work packages to work on independently, which quickly grew into larger and larger areas of responsibility and developed into small sub-projects of my own.

The variety of tasks within a project makes the work exciting every day, be it the close cooperation internally and externally in the team, the evaluation of data, the creation and presentation of presentations, as well as the active participation in the further development of Intero Consulting.

In addition to work, there is of course enough time and space for further training and mutual exchange within our company. Together with two other Junior Consultants, I completed a four-day introductory training course in management consulting during my first few months, as well as a further four-day training course on process improvement with all Interos.

At Intero Consulting, I can develop very quickly and drive forward my own ideas. At the weekends, I still have enough time to pursue my hobbies such as road cycling and cross-country skiing.

In many areas, the requirements for consultants are similar to those for managers:

1. motivation and energy,
2. analytical thinking and
3. the ability to lead the team. At Intero Consulting, only those who credibly embody these skills as a partner can create a corporate culture that is successful in this market in the long term.

But we at Intero Consulting expect even more from ourselves. We want to offer a corporate climate that gives every single person the opportunity for individual development, both personally and in terms of content. This is already evident in the selection process: an Intero has strong analytical skills - but we want people with different perspectives on the same thing and an individual, group-oriented personality.

We also want our team members to feel that they are not in a normal job, but are part of an environment that cares about them as people. Corporate culture for us is therefore more than simple economics - for us it is a second family. We meet once a month for a joint company meeting followed by a team event, and many of us also do things together in our free time.

That's why one of our most important internal rules is All Interos receive regular support - this includes an introductory seminar lasting several days as well as other joint and individual training sessions. It is important to us that social skills and methodological and specialist knowledge are promoted in a balanced mix. Two rules apply to us:

1. Further development can be supported, but it has to be done by everyone themselves and
2. without their own personal morals and ethics, all skills are ultimately counterproductive.

This doesn't mean that we don't think economically: we also live fair performance and those who achieve more are rewarded financially accordingly. We also believe in the exceptional abilities of all our Interos that we have chosen in the end, and we make this clear by paying them accordingly. But we are also committed to a sustainable approach: we want our team to be able to do more than just work and see consulting not just as a short-term pass-through heater, but to develop our culture with their experience in the long term.

Accordingly: Intero Consulting's corporate culture is based on the trust of people who want to work together on the same thing for a long time.
