The world is following with concern the ongoing crisis in Ukraine caused by Russia's brutal war of aggression. In the midst of this sad reality, Intero Consulting is sending an important signal of solidarity by making a generous donation of 56,000 euros to "Aktion Deutschland Hilft"'s "Emergency Aid Ukraine" programme.
The shockwaves of the Russian war of aggression have torn the lives of local people apart at the seams. Millions of people have fled their homes, either within Ukraine to escape the fighting or in search of protection in neighbouring countries such as Poland, the Republic of Moldova and Romania. Many Ukrainians have also found refuge in Germany.
In the midst of this suffering, Intero Consulting decided to provide support. The donation to "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" is an important step towards helping the people in Ukraine, especially children, women and men who are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
Aktion Deutschland Hilft is an alliance of 21 aid organisations that have been working since the first day of the war, both in Ukraine and in the refugee countries. The alliance is focussing on providing those affected with winter clothing, warm collective accommodation, medical care and repairs to damaged houses. In particular, the people who have remained in Ukraine are now experiencing the second winter of the war and urgently need protection from the cold.
The donation from Intero Consulting therefore comes at the right time and will help to alleviate the suffering of the people in Ukraine. It shows that companies can play an important role in bringing about positive change in the world. Solidarity and cohesion are crucial in times like these, and Intero Consulting is setting an example of social responsibility.
